I’ve got a fever, and the only prescription is more horse

Hello! It was recently Will’s birthday, and we spent some time at the park, with brother Phil! We had recently both been sick, not sure with what exactly. I thought I was over it because I just had a bit of gravelly voice left, but then the next night I started getting a fever. So, I’ve been a bit loopy and confused!

Big news is that Naboo finally had his cancer follow-up, and he should definitely be clear! Apparently there was a little black dot remaining last time, which has now gone!!

I thought it was funny enough that they needed a sign.

But apparently one swan was worse than all the others.

VO office!

I probably wasn’t in my office at the time of the last post, although I’m already not sure because the time all blends together. I feel like I should probably do a big post all about the progression of my office when I’ve done all the finishing touches, but here are some little snapshots anyway because I can’t resist.

I may need a slightly bigger office one day so I can spread out my shelf crap a bit more lol.

I redid my vision board because it sort of spiralled out of control; originally, I did one whole section at a time before starting on the next category, but this time I put all the headings in a proper grid layout and added the images around them afterwards.

Some figurines, who shall remain nameless, like to throw themselves over a lot despite the museum gel. But it just do be like that.

I think I still have room for a collector’s edition statue of the unified Lara if I can get one. But then I think I’m out of room lol.

I get such great views from my window of the blue, gold, and pink hours, and just nice views in general. Need to get someone to clean the outside of the window though lol.

Some of you may remember the Monsieur Ananas banner I made about 15 years ago. It’s still going, and it’s now in the office of me, a 36 year-old woman.

Judgement. Them being on top of the vocal booth shouldn’t affect the sound but if it does I’ll just have to move them.

I love the flyscreen built into the blind on my window. Want to put one in every window, but very expense.

There was a heatwave and we hadn’t moved the AC upstairs yet, so I had to sit there in my bra. But hey, I was in my own office!

RDR2

Well, since the last post, I finished the main game of RDR2, and also the Epilogue. I can still free-roam and slowly sort a few things out. I may or may not have been completely emotionally-devastated by the plot of this game. I knew we would lose Arthur at some point but I didn’t quite know how or what the hell else would happen alongside that.

Peep my new boy, Cheesecake. Also found an identical Appaloosa that I have decided is the same Hershey that Arthur had.

Just going out to fight crime in my longjohns.

But, that means I get to look after Buell.

So heartbroken for Mary and Arthur honestly.

I decide this is same Toffee as Arthur’s Toffee.

RDO

I have started up Red Dead Online again! This has caused a little bit of confusion with my missions in what remains of story mode. I found a skunk and was like, oh yeah, Uncle wanted a skunk! But then I remembered that was a different game mode and year and group of people entirely. I have signed up as a Bounty Hunter and Collector but the progress is sooooo slow. Need to do so much for so little reward at a time. I know they want people to play the game for as long as possible, but I’m personally more motivated to do that if I can unlock nice things. If I only unlock the things right at the end then it’s like, well ok I didn’t really get to ride around with that stuff because the entire game was just, working to get it. Apparently there is no true end to the story in RDO because the devs never added more to it after a certain point.
I also find it weird that there’s no voice lines for the player character. I think they could’ve done it Fallout 4 style. It’s bizarre how everyone is mentioning that I don’t talk!

I need an IRL hat like this. The game calls it a Cayuga Hat, but the only Cayuga I know is duck.

Finally got my beautiful Breton boy. Named him Taran after the Breton word for thunder. Might change him to a grey one when I unlock that, but he’s a nice roan in the meantime.

Everyone was on the floor in this town. Might be because RDO is set before RDR2 and this might be the town that gets wiped out by cholera.

Bounty hunting is honestly tough with the timer! I’ve fumbled a few of them. Also doesn’t really make sense that when the timer runs out and they’re on your horse, they’re just magically let go and you can’t apprehend them again.

I felt bad so I took her to the graveyard.

If Grace Ashcroft played RDO this would be her saddlebag.

Some idiots stole a wagon and wedged it under a bridge.

Thank you Cripps for letting this terrifying man into our camp.

I love being able to run around in people’s houses because they don’t aggro like they do in the main game.

Seeing so many cool angles I couldn’t before.

Reminds me of the “Our Banner in the Sky” painting.

Technically I got the cart home! And the horse didn’t die!

Red Dead Redemption, the first one

And I have finally started Brown Alive Redemption itself, which is an older game but is set after the events of RDR2. Most players probably went into the 2nd one having played this first, though. I didn’t have the background of playing as John Marston so I was just like, who tf is this rude guy at camp.
So far it has been absolutely chaotic. Vily warned me about all the NPCs absolutely zooming around on horses, but damn I wasn’t expecting it to be as disorienting as it actually is. What is everybody doing?!
So far I’m on the hunt for Bill Williamson. Thanks to RDR2, I already know that he sucks.

That Seth guy creeps me out but it also really irks me that he doesn’t seem to feed his horse?

I accidentally shot a horse but then it respawned on top of itself.

Just whistling for my horse allowed Nacho to teleport to Mexico. Looks nice here.

So, with all the Red Dead horses combined, we should have: Fartu, Chunky Bum, Big Boi, Mildred (RIP Queen), Fluffy, Taran, Buell, Cheesecake, Toffee, Hershey, Rachel, Mildred 2.0, and Nacho Cheese! I’m counting 13 horses!

Fallout: New Vegas

I don’t think that little black square in there is meant to be visible.

It’s SO hard to get a screenshot of Miss Fortune.

I tried to get people not to fight so instead everyone got mad at me.

Immediately had me trying to talk to a mini Securitron with my ass showing.

Not sure if the dogs’ brains are just suspended like that for some reason, or if they are human brains mounted on dogs, kind of like the Robobrains.

I think these suits were meant to autonomously get injured people home, but instead they make corpses fight randos.

The Sims 4

I did end up making ghost Freya. But then I got kind of overwhelmed and sad and haven’t really gone back to the game. But I need to have fewer games on the go anyway.

Wanted to give her an interesting pattern since I knew most of her would be obscured by the ghost texturing.

Binding her to the urn I originally put there for her.

The FO76 season is about to start up again, and before we know it it’ll be the Halloween event, that will probably take up a lot of my free time now lol.

Other stuff from recent life

I am very late to this meme but I will take any opportunity to make a hideous collage.

Had the opportunity to spend some time in a chapel.

Had a very strange malfunction when I rubbed my eye.

Butterfly. Also saw a Hummingbird Moth recently but couldn’t get a half-decent picture.

McDonalds doing a promotion with Fallout 76! The cheesy bites were ok, although there weren’t very many of them between 2 people. It’s also odd that Blamco is mac & cheese in the game, but for IRL they made them potato.

Naboo has recently begun sticking his legs in my legs??

Need to remember to get actually non-Christmas gift labels.

I do be having issues. Still have a tan line from earlier in the summer though lol.

I seem to be having hormonal hives, or Autoimmune Progesterone Dermatitis, but I need a GP to confirm. The eye issues in particular could be a heliotrope rash but I honestly don’t know at this point. I’ve started having these episodes before every period. Periods are already chaotic enough with my numerous serious endocrine issues and HRT (can’t remember if I mentioned, GP said the HRT is most likely the cause of my hair roots growing out brown. It might be permanent or temporary or cyclical, but as always, it’s the hormones lol).

It feels too early for it to be starting up again in this cycle. But I also have PMS for 2-3 weeks each time so I guess nothing about it is normal. I feel like the NHS would save a lot more money on me if they would just give me the surgery to remove the excess hormone sources.

It’s extra weird because I have to take an antihistamine every day anyway, which has been the case as long as I can remember, to prevent chronic allergic rhinitis (hayfever sucks). So these hives and rashes, which are mainly on my eyes/face/neck/wrists/arms and sometimes legs, are getting through the protection of the antihistamine.

I also become temporarily allergic to things I am not actually allergic to, like my daily default necklace and my titanium wedding ring (do you know how unlikely it is to be allergic to titanium? Lol). I also get a repeat rash on my neck that I at first thought was connected to the necklace, but it turns out the chain doesn’t actually rest there, so I don’t know why it likes that spot in particular.

Anyway, as always I need to wait for a doctor to do something. But hopefully it’s fine.

Also, this song is having a renaissance in my life.
