A whole year of Naboo!

It’s hard to believe it has been a whole year since Naboo’s arrival. Time really does fly when you love a dog. He has changed and grown so much (physically and mentally) since arriving, although there are still some things to work on. He turned two years-old in July, so he is officially no longer a puppy, but simultaneously, a big weasel-shaped baby. He is my son!

The Sims 4

I felt like making a display of all of our outfits in The Sims 4. Not sure why, aside from I think we have quite a lot and it’s getting chaotic. Had to use Sims 4 Studio to get all these images, they are varying sizes because it depends on what was recently displayed in game, if that makes any sense. E.g. I didn’t have any Terrified portraits this time because I’m not using the haunted house lot type (although I am tempted to turn that on).

The pets just have their collars. The dog used to have a separate walking outfit, but it was super annoying how they never changed him out of it.
Because my household takes shoes off indoors and wears slippers, a lot of the actual outfit shoe choices aren’t rendered in these.
Athletic a.k.a. “autonomously went to use the punching bag in the shed and then didn’t get changed for the rest of the week.” I wish there were more raglan sleeve tops in the game because I love them.
Featuring sleep cap accurate to real life.
Definitely don’t have as many fancy dresses or cool costumes IRL.

I recently built a plan of an ideal home in The Sims. However, it STILL seemed way too big to me. So I had a couple of attempts of shrinking it down. I was inspired to try again by seeing plans for Accessory Dwelling Units in California.

Something about it just doesn’t really work and I’m not sure what it is, although the garage is certainly an issue.
Yes, I did grow up with Feng Shui, and as an adult I’ve realised much of it was incorrectly used lol.
It was certainly closer to the smaller neighbourhood house shells in size.
An attempt at guest bedding in the offices.
This area just didn’t really work, and I wasn’t sure how to fix it.
It looked nice from the outside but the design really bothered me.
So before long I found myself rebuilding again, and my sim made this face about it.
I like this version much better, even though the house is quite long, and not all areas are properly usable by the sims themselves because there isn’t a ridiculous amount of free space around certain objects.
Got stuck here by the lamp for a while
My sim’s friend died so I got a mod and bound her to a gravestone in the garden, she’s not officially part of the household but she can still appear and hang out, which is all you can really ask of dead loved ones really. I also have a stone there for Freya (and an urn in the house) and a snail statue for Joop.
Will’s desk was gonna be facing the door with his back to the wall, but no matter how far from the wall I put it, the game wouldn’t let him go around it to sit down.
We had a burglar!
The police came, but sort of just stood there, with Will in his underwear. Burglar ran off after fight.
Burglar snuck back in while my sim was upgrading the burglar alarm, d’oh.
But then the burglar got his ass kicked by Naboo.
I remembered the “Set as Head” function. This is with seasonal cards.
Light switch becomes my whole existence.
A tank with a 4-eyed slug in it.
The kitchen bin.
The kotatsu (I’ve always wanted one of those but I’m not sure how I’d fit it into my house or life).
The archway. So much variance in the sizes of the things lol.
The Helping Hand.
And finally, a handwash bottle.
If you put fan decorations on the wall, the sims will steal them and use them to fan themselves, even when they are complaining about being cold.
Hosting is tighter in this house but I feel better about the overall size.
Just a ghost using the microwave.
Talking to someone in a waist-high pile of leaves while my husband naps on a bench.
I got another award! Yay!
And I finally got my celebrity tile! Unfortunately I was wearing this outfit at the time. It was hot, OK?
Put this paddling pool down hoping the pets would use it, but they can’t seem to interact with it, instead we can do this.
Read this as “Vily 4” at first.

I might see if it’s possible to make a ghost sim for the family in CAS. I miss Freya.

RDR2

Oh boy here we go. I’m not sure how many times I’ve said “It’s all downhill from here” but IT’S ALL DOWNHILL FROM HERE.

Don’t read this next part if it’ll spoil Red Dead for you; I had some aspects spoiled for me (understandably, the game has been out nearly 10 years) so I found out that at some point, Arthur will die, and we’ll switch to John, the guy from the first one (which I haven’t played). And apparently I can transfer money if I go to Aberdeen Pig Farm at the right time. I’m not sure when it will happen, but I’m apprehensive, I assume I will cry because I am a baby.

Oh dear.
I swear it’s always storming when I come into Saint Denis.
Stole this gorgeous horse from Anthony Foreman. Renamed her Hershey because she reminds me of the Cookies ‘n’ Cream.
It looked like this dancer had quite a Jewish headdress on but it was impossible to get a good view.
The most dramatic wardrobe I’ve ever seen in my life.
This nice temporary horse accompanied me for a while.
I just love this saddle. Unfortunately, bringing the pelt to the trapper triggered the involuntary cutscene that forced me to acknowledge tuberculosis.
Horse looks so good in that saddle it’s ridiculous.
I can’t prove it, but I think the elk might know where I am.
This poor dog.
A guiding star to the southwest.
Justice for the robot!
Another temporary horse that I called Toffee. He’s a Suffolk Punch, which I found out is a critically endangered native English horse breed.

FO76

I’ve finished the season and the mini season, so I can put this on the backburner for a while.

I am so infinitely cool.
Thank you Beckett for strolling by and not shooting those mole rats.
He might’ve finally read the sign.
Hmm.
Back up a little there buddy. I can see your tongue.

Fallout: New Vegas

I finally checked back in with this game, but I have no idea what I was in the middle of doing. Click here for previous New Vegas.

A mutant called Marcus, who nods respectfully towards me.
Trying to talk to this lady just made . . . this, happen.
Never forget that I am so fashion.
Horrifying.
That’s just, like, your opinion, man.

Phasmophobia

The Willow map has been revamped! It turns out I didn’t take that many screenshots, but the house is nice, although they did retain the odd shape of it. The basement is nice now! And there are many, many cat shelves.

It is a travesty that we cannot get to the flamingo and I will die on this hill.
Brother Phil!
He stole my pillow.

Another bat above the garden.
