It’s almost August

So far I think transferring to WordPress for this blog has gone well. There are some things I don’t like about it as much as I liked Blogger, but other things I like more. I don’t think WordPress actually updates subscribers when I write a page as opposed to a post, so, here’s a bucket list I made.

I can’t actually believe so much of the year has gone. It seems like it was only a few weeks ago that it was November and we were moving into this house and it was cold and the electric meter was weird. Did I mention that we have a smart meter now? I can’t remember if I did, but I like it.

On the bright side, it being so far along in the year means that Halloween is coming around again soon 🎃. On the other hand, where has all the time gone, why haven’t I done anything, etc.

I really wanted to achieve more for the charity by now but it’s very slow going. We would have graduated a partnership by now if we hadn’t had to ask somebody to leave. So that’s a bummer.

I worry about August because it’s when the giant spiders come out. The Tegenaria Gigantea. I was bitten by one once and oh God I just cannot deal with their butts and their legs and their hair.

It happened a few years ago when I threw a blanket over my legs on the sofa. I felt a sharp pinch. Threw the blanket back. Giant Gigantea ran up the back of the sofa! And then my leg went a bit purple. NIGHTMARE. Check your blankets folks.

Also I’m really fatigued at the moment.
