Animals live outside our house

Hello, I have some updates about gaming and also life stuff. I’ve been sick again and I’m getting very fed up with it. So not getting as much done as I would like. I am at least mostly awake in the daytime at the moment.

I made a capsule wardrobe concept; I’ve tried to do this a few times before and it’s never gone quite right. I saw an image on Pinterest that suggested 10 tops, 10 bottoms, 5 dresses, 5 pairs of shoes, and limited accessories. So that inspired me to try making my own again, but I didn’t include minutiae like individual pairs of (under)pants, or my actual t-shirts with stuff on them. I could live just fine with just a few tops and stuff. I wear the same few things all the time. I just have trouble letting go of all the extra crap I have in case I’ll suddenly want to wear it one day lmao. The nightshirts are the existing ones I already own lol. Although I need to make one shorter so I don’t trip over it. Where is my sewing machine? No idea. We are making progress in my future office though so will probably find it soon.

Sorry for my dry skin flaking everywhere as always.

I got a new wireless PC gamepad and it’s fabulous so far. I can’t remember if I mentioned that my previous one broke, so I was using Will’s PS4 controller for a while, but that had a problem with the trigger, which got worse and was screwing me over in Resident Evil. So, much to my husband’s chagrin, I finally ordered a new controller. It being wireless really helps because I’m not constantly tripping over the cable when I need to swivel my chair and get up.

I had a very strange encounter when I heard a loud scrabbling sound. I wound up looking through a gap between my monitors, and realised I was making eye contact with a fucking squirrel! He got spooked when he realised I could see him, but rather than disappearing entirely, he went to perch on the fence. He actually hung around for ages, even after I called Will in. I have no idea what he found so interesting about our window.

We’ve also been seeing a pheasant outside a lot! I think it’s been a while since we’ve seen deer, and the frogs are still hiding away for the winter.

I don’t know why “Wayne Comfort” is so funny but I remember laughing at it when I first played RE6 as well.
Weird toilet.
Found my fave statue.

The Tomb Raider IV-VI remasters are out, I’m currently on the first of the games, The Last Revelation. This and Chronicles are honestly stressful af and the remasters can’t change that. I feel like I liked AOD enough that I’m looking forward to it.

Lots of little things look nice.

I dived into modding New Vegas, just for some quality of life improvements. Namely, markers that float where the thing actually is, like in 76. I did see a video where someone had the exact markers and looting menu as in 76, I think it even included the “nearby corpses” button, but alas I could not find one that gave me that exact thing.

I feel like swimming in bandages is a bad idea?
I feel like I shouldn’t love this sign as much as I do.
I eventually figured out how to change it to metres.

And of course I have some ramblings about FO76.

Unlocked a gaudy heart-shaped light.
I feel like they would cut down to the bone at the very least.
I swapped out Blackburn’s Bungalow with the Wildwood Den for the bar. Beckett must be able to path around better in it, because he now plays the intruments.
I have no idea what Fasnacht is but I tried.
Finally unlocked some greenhouse and clean bathroom stuff, so finally completed my main camp.
I assume the tile floor is meant to be gold and black, and not just, dirty.
The dog teleported to me when I was fucking around on the roof, and I was like uhhhhhhhh how do I get you down.
Could still do with a room divider for the cabin bathroom.
It’s a bit awkward in round-walled prefabs. Just pretend all the pipes are in the walls of the shower I guess.
What using the shower actually looks like.
Another camp with an attempted small build in the Wildwood Den (which is essentially a Quonset Hut).
I struggle to make things look more lived-in because decorating in this game can be a bit of a nightmare.
I wanted to have as much as possible inside the hut itself, so that I could in theory just place it all down in a different location. This did not work lol.
At some point I moved most of the taxidermy heads to the underground shelter lobby to save on camp budget.
Will & Letti in the apocalypse.
Saw a pink robot and was confused.
Then I realised I was being chased by a Flatwoods Monster.
And it turned out said monster can make my camp turrets and ally not help.
But I managed to kill it in the end.
I actually have a statue of one in my house because it looks cool.
I did such a loud fucking laugh when this happened, but it turns out Beckett can use the shower and it looks like this.
Another attempt at building a tiny living space.
Not sure what to name this beautiful-ugly babe.
I’m washing me and my clothes.
Not really satisfied with the outside but I’m not really sure what else to do with it.

I don’t know why I’m so focused on the idea of building the perfect tiny living space. Because it’s not like I actually like living in small spaces lol. I keep trying to make things on just one floor square but I can’t fit everything in if I do that. So it has to be minimum 2×1. Maybe going up is the key but idk. I guess I’m waiting for the perfect prefab to come along so I can decorate it.

I’m kind of getting the itch to rebuild my main camp, even though I love it how it is, and I’m not sure what I would even change it to. I just have no idea what I’m doing.

And I’m going to insert some recent videos here.
