Nephilim, a giant bee, and confusing plants

Hello everyone; first things first, I should probably mention that I’m doing a charity stream on May 31st! You can watch me race against T_Kitty_ via this link. I don’t expect to win, or even necessarily to finish – because I’m pretty sure REmake 3 kicked my ass last time – but hopefully it will help.

Our flowerbed has burst into life and lots of things are starting to flower. The problem is, I can’t really tell some of the plants apart anymore. The foxgloves and the lupins look really similar until they flower. The hollyhock leaves I can recognise, although none of them have flowered just yet. I’m not sure any delphiniums made it (although I also confuse those with lupins, so, who knows), Will might’ve thought they were weeds because of the leaf shape. Or maybe none of them survived as seedlings. Or maybe they all did.

There’s a plant growing that I don’t recognise at all, I probably won’t until it flowers, but it doesn’t quite look like a weed so we’re leaving it for now. I’m hoping it will turn out to be one of our bat-friendly wildflowers. Sadly I think all the nicotiana from last year died off and/or weren’t perennial after all. And there have been plenty of frogs bobbing around in the wildlife pond!

Sort of related to gardening, here’s a time a hornet came to the door loooool.

I finished Angel of Darkness on stream this past weekend, which concludes my stream run of Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered. It’s kind of sad to finish it, because it’s the end of the original (and best, in my opinion) Lara’s story. If I remember correctly, AOD was originally meant to be a trilogy in itself, but it kind of failed commercially and Core Design lost the franchise. If things had been different, and they hadn’t had to continually pump-out unfinished games, who knows, we might still be on the original Lara’s story.
Next I’ll probably start doing the Legend-Anniversary-Underworld trilogy. Which was the first reboot, changing Lara’s backstory (and her house) although she was still recognisably Lara Croft for the most part. And then there was another reboot altogether in 2013. I actually haven’t played the third game in that trilogy before, but at this point I may as well wait until I reach it on stream.

A spooky naphil.
For some reason, I decided to start an off-stream all-pickups run of AOD, as if this won’t be incredibly stressful. And it turns out that army-crawling down the stairs is very funny.
And I’m wearing wetsuits into people’s apartments.
TROP DANGEREUX!

Of course, The Last Revelation and Chronicles had plenty of moments of their own.

Terrifying.
Don’t tell me what to do, sir.
Oh boy.
He’s got space dementia!

I did continue with Atomfall off-stream, although it’s been a while since I caught up with it. I intend to get a video up of it at some point, although I’m in the middle of a Code Veronica edit right now.

I think something like this would actually make a better flag of England. Blue, grey, and green horizontal stripes. Because, when you look at the landscape of England, that’s often what you see. I actually came up with a similar concept a couple of years ago but I had 2 different shades of green on the bottom.
Gotta survive on those pasties.
I thought I actually did pretty well with this headshot.

I finished Post Trauma but remained pretty confused by the whole thing throughout. It wore its Silent Hill influences very plainly though. It’s not a bad game, but it has some jankiness, and my computer was DYING trying to run it. Yes, I in general need to get a better graphics card, but come on, man.

Why are you so mad, spider lady. Be more constructive with your feedback!
Ma’am that’s a clock.

I also tried out the Phasmo easter event, but got very confused about exactly what I was meant to do with all the ghostly jackalopes. I thought last year I was meant to try and get photos of them, but they got mad when I did that and the photos never counted as anything in the journal, but I’m probably misremembering.

As always, there have been more Fallout shenanigans. There’s a new event about fighting a giant bee named Beezlebub. I am not good at it. Feels like we only just got out of the Enclave season, but a whole other new one should be starting again in a couple of weeks. Apparently it might introduce fishing, I’m not sure how I feel about that, lol. It won’t be like Stardew fishing, right?

This isn’t a great screenshot, but apparently it’s the only one I took.
Oh no what have I done.
Sir you forget yourself.
Bit of sprucing-up in another camp.
Progress on my secret underground lab. Don’t tell Beckett.
I am, in fact, judging.
And now I’m side-eyeing this cooking for the same reason.
Dog-crotch catastrophe.
That feel when you not only have a deathclaw coming through your wall, but your camp ally has gotten into their underwear.
Why is the merchant in my shower.
Wound up making the house walls red, it helped some decor stand out a bit more, especially the blue “shoppe” letters.
Check out the rando dog snacking on my camp module outside. I got rid of the fence around it because it was causing problems when enemy bodies got stuck.
I took this cool picture of a Flatwoods monster a while ago and it sometimes comes up on my loading screens.
Mildly horrifying.
Well then.
Experimenting with a little building out the back of the house, as a station for two workbenches I need frequently and am getting too lazy to go down into my shelter for. I do feel it detracts from the little house being the focal point though, so not sure if I’ll keep it long term.
