I hope I’ll be able to come up with some more interesting post titles soon, but here are some recent things. There’s still a fair bit of unpacking to do, and the pressure is really on because it’s almost time for Will’s birthday party. I thought having a deadline would make me work faster in the house, but apparently not! Maybe if I scowl at the remaining boxes enough they’ll unpack themselves for me.
Finally got a new wheel after the airline broke one.
Me being happy about the new wheel.
A pair of doofuses.
I tried to get a nice picture of them both on the lawn, but Freya spotted me and had to run in.
But Ozzy is a good boy.
Charlie!
I tried bokeh mode on my phone and got this dramatic photo of Will.
Dogs love staring at empty places where someone isn’t sitting.
Two doofuses in a lake.
Some flying geese. Not a great picture but it happened suddenly and my phone was uncooperative about it.
Our current inner-household meme is the “Press F to pay respects” thing.
He just does this sometimes.
I was hoping I could change the battery in this solar light that stopped working but unfortunately it’s got a weird one in it!
I was pleased that this film I enjoy was on TV.
Out and about!
We went on a cinema date.
Will and me recently left the house on a proper date and we went and saw Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. It was good but not super amazing, I didn’t scream at anything (whereas with The Nun I screamed all the way through). There was, however, a bit with a toe that has left me unable to have a certain kind of food.
I got my next bullet journal, I’ve gone A5 again, and I got an Ottergami one. I’m already filling it with my brain farts.
Sweet Jupiter has had some bouts of inactivity in the heat again.
But then he went and did this.
A plane went through a cloud.
Walking the babe.
I had no idea how MASSIVE this would be. I expected it to be the size of a large poster I had, but it actually dwarfs the poster a lot. I do think it kind of ties the theme of our stuff together though. What would really tie it together is actually having a wall colour, but we aren’t allowed to do that yet.
I would swap out all our chandeliers with these if I could!
I had one of those eye screenings where they made my pupils really wide again.
I’ve re-tinted my brows so they won’t be blonde and invisible at Will’s birthday, but I’m very conscious of the rest of the house seeing me before they’ve reduced a bit!
And I won’t be able to sort out my figurines any time soon. The plastic has gone so brown for a lot of them that I think I’ll have to take them out of the packets, but maybe I can preserve some of the inserts.
I decided to store my badges on a pennant and select a couple to wear at a time, rather than heaving my entire collection around on my jacket!
Long babe.
Will’s mum took this absolutely gorgeous photo of the dogs and I love it so much.
